Welcome to Kelly Brewer Fine Art

I love painting animals, and Herefords have always held a special place in my heart. They were the first cattle brought to Kentucky by Henry Clay, and as a Kentuckian, I feel deeply connected to both their history and their quiet familiarity.

What moves me most about Herefords is their universality. These cattle could be standing in a Kentucky pasture, a Texas field, the hills of California, or somewhere in South America. They may remind you of your own back field, a childhood memory, or a place you once loved.

In my work, the cow is both literal and symbolic. These animals became the starting point of my artistic journey, but they also represent something larger—the shared experiences and emotional connections we all bring to art. There are endless scenes, animals, and faces worthy of attention and admiration, and I’m continually inspired by the way art allows us to connect through ordinary moments made beautiful by light, memory, and perspective.

As you explore my portfolio, you’ll find more than animals. I paint from inspiration, always drawn to light and the emotion it creates. Perhaps that’s something we share.
